The 'Beast from the East' has not disappointed!! and here we have had to hunker down in our workshop where we can at least make the orders, but shipping them out is proving to be a little difficult.  Even if we could get the orders to the sorting office and couriers, many depots and the Royal Mail hub in the midlands are either shut or have a very limited service.

Therefore, if you are ordering, please bear with us while we battle the weather conditions and expect a slight delay in receiving your order

Normally, we would fire up the 4x4 and get through most conditions.  In fact Friday 2nd March is the first day ever that we can't make it to the couriers or sorting office even in a 4x4!!

This is Sonya struggling down the track to the main road (picture above) where conditions are not much better.  This makes getting orders out a bit of a challenge.  So bear with us if there is slight delay in receiving your order.

We will be updating the look of our website, so that it is easier to navigate.  As we have been adding lots of new products, we wanted a site that could accommodate such growth. 

All the live preview functionality still works on both mobiles and desktops.  I am sure there will be a couple of little blips, so if you spot one then give us a call on 01432 840712.

After a litlle absence we have reintroduced a travel chess set, but this time it comes with a hipflask and tumblers, which makes playing chess a lot more fun!!!

As a gift, it makes for a lovely presentation.  Fathers day, or birthdays are sorted now for all your chess loving friends and family. 

Like all our hipflasks, the engraving is done with sandblasting rather than a rotary scribe or laser.  In our humble opinion, sandblasting (although it takes longer to do) gives a much more superior finish to the etch.  We find that lasers lack the finish and rotary engraving can sometimes look a little, well... scratchy.

I never realised how long it would take to settle a new logo, but althought the final one will, I'm sure undergo some more tweaking before we are finished, we are pleased to replace a rather boring standard text logo, with a more contemporary one.

We aimed to capture a few elements, namely that we are British and all our personalisation is done here in the UK rather than abroad.  Also we wanted to say that we aim to turn orders around quickly, hence the 'running man'.  The colours may change with the seasons, but you have to start somewhere otherwise nothing gets done.

Now whatever your views on Brexit, I think that most of us can agree that the UK is a pretty good place to be.  OK, the weather can sometimes be a bit dull, but then one appreciates the nicer weather when it comes.

When sourcing new ideas, it is almost inevitable that some products come from the far corners of the world, but where possible we buy British!! and of course ALL our engraving and personalisation is done here in our workshop in Hereford.

So on all our Aprons and T-Shirts, now carry a little union jack.  Because we are proud that every order that gets dispatched from our workshop is personalised and packed in the UK.
